Flooded basement in Annapolis, Maryland
This flooded basement was the result of a burst pipe in the bathroom. The point of origin normally has the most extensive damage. The vanity in this Annapolis home had to be removed since it was soaked through. When water has time to sit and soak more irreparable damage is done. The wallboard can collapse and fall apart. Our team tested the saturation of the drywall in the basement bathroom and determined that cutting the bottom portion out was required. Patching the lower section of drywall all around the basement allowed the team to keep cost down, repair quickly and avoid potential mold damage in the future.
