Sediment left Behind After Flooding

Sometimes the biggest challenge with a water damage is what you find after the water has been removed.  Most often its mold, but in some cases flood waters leave behind a layer of sediment on the floor after the water has been extracted. This most often occurs when storm waters come so fast that the sump pump cant keep up and the water overflows into the basement of the home.

When this happens it almost always requires a second visit with the pressure washer and extractor to re-saturate the area and extract the water as the sediment loosens. It often takes technicians several hours working after the initial mitigation services are complete to remove the fine sandy sediment, that can often be present in these Annapolis communities.
