Do not forget that September is National Preparedness month! Whether it’s a flood, wildfire or extreme weather, be prepared and join your community in participating in National Preparedness month. Home fires can be extremely dangerous and devastating if you are not prepared for this type of emergency. As per The American Red Cross, nearly 7 people die and 36 people are injured every day from home fires. An estimated $7 billion in property damage occurs every year as a result from home fires.
